This long-running pasta specialist is a favorite of many resident and visiting Italians in Tokyo. In addition to tomato- and cream-based pasta sauces, Al Dente serves up Japanese variations featuring spicy mentaiko (cod roe with red peppers), plump, flavorful shrimp and strips of nori seaweed.

Most pastas range from Y1000-1800 in price, and spaghetti portions come in four different sizes.
