Thanksgiving
This year American Thanksgiving Day falls on Thursday November 26, and there are many choices if you're in the mood for a turkey dinner in Tokyo. The menus listed here are available on Thursday only, unless otherwise noted. Reservations are most definitely recommended.
The stylish dining room of the Four Seasons Marunouchi will be serving holiday lunch and dinner menus on both Thursday and Friday. Lunch is Y3900 and includes white bean and bacon soup; roast turkey breast and honey-maple turkey leg; sauteed bacon and spinach; sweet potato puree; traditional stuffing and pumpkin bread pudding.
Dinner is Y6800, and each group of four will receive one complimentary dinner. The menu features everything on the lunch menu, plus spicy smoked salmon with candied walnuts and turkey casserole. 03-5222-5810 or 03-5222-7222 for reservations.

The popular "urban chop house" from chef David Chiddo serves up an impressive Y8500 dinner menu featuring butternut squash soup with seared scallops; pan-fried foie gras with spicy greens; roast turkey with apple, chestnut and sausage stuffing; sides of sauteed green beans with pancetta, creamed onions and whipped candied yams with sour cream and toasted pecans; and a maple pumpkin tart with pumpkin gelato. 03-6418-0077

Roti's creative three-course menu starts with a choice of herbed goat cheese and caramelized fresh figs or smoked duck and roquefort cheese salad. The main course is oven-roast turkey with sausage chestnut stuffing, cranberry ginger relish, goose-fat roast potatoes and seasonal winter vegetables. Y4500, served Thursday-Saturday (11/26-28).
There's also a Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday (Y2200 for a turkey platter) and take-out turkeys available Thursday through Sunday (Y1800 for a full turkey meal; call ahead to reserve). Vegetarian and fish options are available with advance booking. 03-5785-3671.

This cozy little California-style restaurant will offer a menu of Caesar salad; carrot cream soup; roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables; and apple tart with ice cream and caramel sauce. The Cow's big holiday buffet will be available both Thursday and Friday (26/27), with two seatings each night (ninety minutes starting at either 6:30 or 8:30). The spread includes turkey (with carving service), plenty of pies and ample vegetarian choices like stuffed tofu. Y4200 per person. The Grand Hyatt's grill restaurant will serve a Y12,000 special Thanksgiving menu from Wednesday and Thursday evenings (11/25-26); the dinner includes smoked trout and apple salad; New England lobster chowder; roast turkey with chestnut stuffing and sweet potato; and a choice of pumpkin pie with pumpkin ice cream or pecan tart with chocolate ice cream. 03-4333-8784.
