Cheese and vegetable cuisine is the theme at this attractive basement spot in the heart of Doyamacho. The dishes are fairly simple for the most part and nicely presented, focusing on the quality of the fresh ingredients.
Seven types of cheese can be ordered by the piece, and there are cheese-based fondues, quiches and croquettes. There's a small salad bar, but we found the Nojo Salad (Y580) to be sufficient for our raw-vegetable needs. Drinks include sake, wines and various fruit liqueurs.
Budget around Y2500-3000 at dinnertime for food and a drink or two. Open until 5am on Friday and Saturday nights.
