Open 11:30am-10pm daily.
Sun: Open Sundays
decor: Notable decor

This sprawling building was once the private mansion of one of Kyoto's leading merchants, and its beautiful garden setting makes it a popular spot for parties and banquets. Lunch is especially recommended, as prices are more reasonable and you can see the garden better.

Lunchtime prix-fixe menus start at around Y3,000, and include meals featuring tempura and freshly made yuba as well as sashimi and boxes of seasonal delicacies. Dinner menus start at Y3,800, and they also serve afternoon tea (Y3,080).
