Akihabara: Rabbit
cafe
₯3254-2323
€Data
The rabbits seem
friendlier and more
outgoing than aver-
age at this small
cafe. Perhaps it's a
result of the cafe's
policy of providing
all visitors with a
complimentary packet
of rabbit snacks
upon arrival. There
are two small play-
rooms, with two or
three rabbits run-
ning loose and room
for two or three
customers in each.

There's also a sep-
arate cafe area,
furnished with three
tables where you can
drink coffee and
unwind between
rabbit-feeding ses-
sions and recharge
your batteries. A
bouncy soundtrack of
smooth jazz plays in
the background.

Upon arrival you'll
be asked to choose a
plan (thirty or
sixty minutes), then
read and sign a
rather long consent
form in English or
Japanese. After that
you'll be issued a
waterproof apron and
you can place your
drink order. Coffee
or soft drinks and
rabbit food are
included with admis-
sion, and you can
purchase extra rab-
bit food for Y200.
