Open since 1999,
this pleasantly
decorated basement
shop serves several
dozen variations of
Japanese-style spa-
ghetti - permuta-
tions of ingredients
like tarako (cod
roe), mentaiko (spi-
cy cod roe), sea
urchin, squid, nat-
to, shiso, kimchee,
shimeji and other
mushrooms, eggplant
and bacon.

Among these are a
dozen Japanese-style
"soup spagetti"
items (noodles
served in a bowl of
soupy sauce), as
well as more stan-
dard Italian-style
tomato, cream, meat
and garlic-based
sauces. Pasta bowls
come in four differ-
ent sizes, with
between 100 and 200
grams of spaghetti.

The dimly lit dining
room is nicer than
average for this
type of cuisine,
with paintings on
the walls and soft
jazz playing in the
background. Budget
around Y1000-1500
for pasta; there are
also salads and
other side dishes if
you want a more
balanced meal.
