tapas bar, Bikini
offers a wide menu
of modern Catalan
cuisine, including
various pintxos,
jamon plates and
other appetizing
Basque-style small
dishes. The wine
list features unusu-
al choices like
txakoli (a lightly
sparkling white wine
from the Basque
region) and Spanish
cider along with
several varieties of
Cava and sherry. You
can choose from
around twenty wines
by the glass and
many more by the
bottle.

Wines are priced
from Y480 per glass
and pintxos are
Y280-380, making
Bikini a budget-
friendly destination
if you just want a
quick glass of wine
and a snack. Pintxos
highlights include
the very meaty Ma-
jorca sausage and
manchego cheese, and
a satisfyingly
garlic-infused sau-
teed prawn and cream
cheese combo. The
sauteed peppers were
an interesting expe-
rience - most were
quite mild but maybe
one out of five was
incredibly spicy,
leading to a peppery
game of Russian
Roulette.

If you decide to
settle in for the
evening, there's a
full menu of grilled
meats, paella and
fideo (like paella
but made with short
pasta noodles in-
stead of rice).
Lunchtime options
include an excellent
seafood-heavy fideo
(Y1100) and a spe-
cial paella lunch
with five assorted
pintxos (Y2100).
