¤Data
Devoted to the proud
history of the Yebi-
su beer brand, this
recently renovated
facility is built on
the site of Tokyo's
original Sapporo
Brewery. It includes
a spacious restau-
rant, a smaller
exhibition area, a
theater, and a well-
stocked gift shop.

The two rooms de-
voted to the history
of the Yebisu brand
since the late 1800s
show off the mu-
seum's fascinating
collections of his-
torical photos,
advertising posters,
wooden sign boards,
newspaper ads and
Yebisu-branded jack-
ets, tracing the
evolution of the
beer's public face
through the decades.

The museum shop
offers a surprising-
ly diverse selection
of goods - glasses
in all sizes, lac-
querware trays and
dishes, chopsticks
and other tableware
in addition to more
conventional souve-
nir knick knacks.
After you're done
with the exhibits
and shopping you can
treat yourself to a
few different Yebisu
beers - premium
black, stout, and
seasonal kohaku as
well as their stan-
dard lager - along
with sausages and
other bar fare.
