Brewed and
served at the
Bull's brewery
restaurant in
Machida, Tokyo,
this well-
crafted beer is
a very clear
pale yellow,
with a faint
malty aroma and
little hops
apparent. It
boasts a clean
taste that is
surprisingly
fruity, but not
sweet, with a
soft and smooth
palate and a
medium body. The
brisk hop finish
makes it a very
refreshing beer.
Mild carbonation
makes it easy to
have another. It
is an all-malt
beer, 5%
alcohol, and one
of the best
Japanese craft
beers in the
pilsner style,
after which most
all Japanese
mass-market
beers have been
patterned.
