This attractive
and well-stocked
liquor store
greets you as
you come out the
north exit of
Shimokitazawa
Station on the
Odakyu and
Inokashira
Lines. While
there are always
carts full of
interesting wine
bargains in the
front, and
sometimes a
young woman
offering free
samples of wine,
there is a
medium-sized
collection of
interesting
imported beers
towards the back
of the store. A
number of
Belgian ales,
European lagers,
and even a few
Japanese craft
beers round out
the selection.
Prices are not
at discount, but
turnover seems
to be good
because
everything is
fresh. Bargains
can be found in
the wine
selection
though, with
many good wines
being sold at
prices low
enough for
everyday
