Hite Exfeel
South Korea
This is a light,
low-calorie beer
from the Chosun
Brewery in
Seoul, South
Korea. It
contains only 97
calories per
bottle, has 4.1%
alcohol, and is
brewed without
preservatives or
additives. It is
pale yellow with
a thin white
sudsy head, and
has a faint
herbal hop
aroma. The
flavor is very
light and
watery, with a
grainy taste
dominating the
thin malt flavor
in the
background,
which quickly
disappears
leaving a
slightly tart
aftertaste and a
spritzy
mouthfeel.
Overall quite
refreshing. It
is interesting
because it still
tastes like an
Asian lager, yet
has certain
features of
light American
beer. Definitely
a beer to drink
very cold on a
hot summer day.
600 yen at the
Pig & Whistle

Station in
