under the train

Yurakucho, this
broad yet low-
ceilinged place
feels more like
a bomb shelter
than a beerhall.
However, despite
the constant
pounding from
the trains
above, it is a
pleasant stop
for a beer or
two, and
features an
extensive menu
of sausages and
other German
specialties. On

Hofbrauhaus (HB)
beers from
Munich, along
with a few other
unusual items
such as
Schlosser Alt
and Dom Kolsch
(Y650 each), two
very old styles
of German beers

actually ales,
