Abbaye de St.
Landelin Biere
Blonde
The popularity
of Belgian ales
is spreading,
and now examples
are being brewed
in the U.S. and
France, where
this example of
a Belgian-style
strong golden
ale comes from.
Medium yellow
and rather
clear, with a
frothy white
head. Sweet,
grainy aroma and
sharp, strong
taste with a dry
and slightly
tart finish.
Strong malt
flavor, with
hops in the
background.
Similar to
Duvel, but not
as complex and
satisfying. Made
with malt,
wheat, rice,
sugar, hops and
spices; alcohol
7%. Now only
Y198 at Yamaya
in Shinjuku.
